Thanks to some generous gifts from family and friends I don't think our little one will have any confusion about how we spend Saturdays.

Baby Que!

Our friend Jen Dao and Amy Ellison threw us a combined barbeque shower with our friends Todd & Lissie from residency at Georgetown on Aug 23. We had a great time gathering with friends to celebrate the new additions on the way. Here are a few photos from the event. You can see the boys chugging beer from a baby bottle above. I believe Joe innovatively ripped the nipple off the bottle to get to the beer. He finished first, but of course that was cheating. At least his beer was still cold and not tainted by the taste of rubber :) Can you guess which baby is ours off the Baby Morph board?

Showering Baby

While we were back in Nebraska my girlfriends from medical school threw me a surprise baby shower. It was super fun to be able to share it with them, especially since we don't get to see each other very often. Of course I had planned a breakfast with my mom and sister, Tori, right in the middle of it! It was fun to see the family and show off my rapidly growing belly. Thanks for waiting for us through a RIDICULOUSLY long Village Inn breakfast girls!
